Anago of Western PA Announces January Franchise Owner’s Meeting

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – January 7, 2013 –Anago of Western PA is pleased to announce that the next monthly franchise Owner’s Meeting has been scheduled on the 2013 calendar. 

The January Franchise Owner’s Meeting will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 11am – 1pm at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017).  The topic for the meeting will be “Advanced Bidding and Estimating”. The goal of the meeting is for the Franchise Owner’s to gain a solid  understanding of the Commercial Cleaning bidding process, and can feel comfortable enough with the process to bid on accounts on their own.

“All Anago of Western PA Franchise Owner’s are given a basic session on Bidding and Estimating as part of their New Franchise Orientation.  For some of our Franchise Owner’s that was nearly ten year ago, so this will serve as a great refresher,” states Anago of Western PA Vice President Bill Ross.  “Additionally we are going to cover some more advanced topics during this meeting, as well as answer Franchise Owner’s questions about how we come up with the pricing that we use.”

The meeting will be held at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017).  Lunch will be provided following the meeting, compliments of Anago of Western PA. Anago of Western PA Franchise Owners’ Celebrate 2012 and Prepare for 2013

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – December 19, 2012 – The Anago of Western PA Annual Franchise Owner’s Year-End Awards Banquet took place today as awards for exceptional performance were given out, new opportunities for 2013 were announced, and a guest speaker discussed trends in small businesses.

The key-note speaker for the event was James Merante, Owner of Padgett Business Systems, he spoke about “Planning and Preparing Your Small Business for 2013”.

“The turnout for today’s event is truly a testament to the dedication that our Franchisees have to the Anago System,” states Bill Ross, Vice President of Anago of Western PA, “Between the timely and poignant information provided by our speaker, the great comradery amongst the Franchisees, and the delicious lunch that was provided, everyone that attended walked away a winner!”

Before lunch, 2012 Year End Awards were handed out, including fifteen winners of “12 Months, No Service Complaints”, five winners of “Greatest Contribution of the Anago System, one “High Grossing Franchise 2012” and the coveted award for “Franchise of the Year”.  Each winner received a plaque and a restaurant gift certificate.

Along with the Year End Awards, additional door prizes were given out including a gift certificate to the Cheesecake Factory courtesy of DH Bertenthal and Sons Cleaning and Maintenance Supplies, a basket of cleaning supplies and an Outback Steakhouse gift card courtesy of The Colker Company Janitorial Supplies, and a Tennant Backpack Vacuum courtesy of Anago of Western PA.

A catered lunch was provided for all attendees including Anago Franchise Owners, their families and the Anago of Western PA Office Staff.

The banquet took place on December 19, 2012 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at The Cornerstone at Tonidale: 7011 Old Steubenville Pike US 22-30 W., Oakdale, PA 15071.

Anago of Western PA Participates in "Operation Troop Employment" to Help Veterans Find Jobs and Business Opportunities

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – May 15, 2012 – Anago of Western PA representatives worked today to help US Military Veterans find job and business opportunities by participating in the 2012 Operation Troop Employment Job Fair and Expo and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland.

Anago of Western PA was one of over 40 participating companies at the event that acknowledged that value of work ethic and skills that a Veteran acquires as being part of the US Military System.  A key note address was given by Former Pittsburgh Steeler and Purple Heart Recipient Rocky Blier.

“Veterans Affairs are important to us and they should be to all Americans.” according to Anago of Western PA Vice President Bill Ross, “Some folks today were just looking for a decent job, but we had plenty of interest from Veterans that were ready to start their own business.  Anago of Western PA can help make that dream a reality, and even offer a discount on purchasing an Anago Franchise through our participation in the VetFran Initiative.”

Anago Cleaning Systems Supports Ronald McDonald House Charities

    POMPANO BEACH, FL, January 27, 2012 - Anago Cleaning Systems is pleased to support the Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) of Fort Lauderdale. The House is a temporary "home away from home" for families with seriously ill children who are being treated at local South Florida pediatric hospitals. The House provides lodging, meals and support to these families during their difficult times.

Many of these families travel far from their homes to get the best treatment for their children. The House provides their services at little or no cost to these families for extended periods of time. Their philosophy is that when a child is hospitalized, the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed. By staying at a Ronald McDonald House, parents can also better communicate with their child's medical team and focus on the health of their child, rather than worrying about grocery shopping, cleaning, or cooking meals. RMHC's Global Policy states that families are never turned away - if it's not possible to pay, the fee is waived. Today there are over 300 Ronald McDonald Houses across the world.

Anago Cleaning Systems' employees collectively donated cash and supplies for the Ronald McDonald House. The company then matched their donations. In late December, a group of Anago employees visited the House. Anago of Western PA Helps With Community Outreach

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – June 5, 2011 – On June 4, 2011, Anago of Western PA Owner and President David Ross joined other area business owner’s and community leaders for the second straight year, by participating in the 2011 Bedford Hill Community Day Job and Health Fair.

 

The theme of the 2011 Fair was “Staying Financially and Physically Healthy,” and brought not only 200+ participants from the Bedford Hill Apartments in the lower Hill District of Pittsburgh, but also additional participants from around the area. 

Participants were offered free food and beverages, along with bone-density, blood sugar and other such screenings.  At 1pm David Ross gave a presentation to a group of participants about starting your own business and some of the free resources that are available to everyone who is interested in pursuing a dream of self-employment.

 “There are a lot of people out here with big dreams, they just don’t know where to start,”  Says David Ross, President of Anago of Western PA. “I’m hopeful that my presentation and pass-outs can help direct some folks to the resources they need to start their own business, be it commercial cleaning, like Anago, or any other type of business.”

 Anago of Western PA gives back to the community on a regular basis, not just through charitable donations, but through participating in events like the Bedford Hill Community Day Job and Health Care, free community job training programs, and has also provided cleaning services for the United Way Day of Caring.
