Cleaning Tips and Tricks: Disposable Cleaning Wipes

Want to know why it is important not to flush disposable cleaning wipes? Ask the Cleaning Proz! Everyone loves the convenience of cleaning their home with disposable cleaning wipes, but sometimes people do not realize the damage they can cause. Even though some wipes say “flushable” it does not mean they actual are designed to flush well.
Check out more on why it is vital not to flush disposable wipes from the article “Don’t Flush Those Wipes” by the Cleaning Proz:
Disposable wipes make everyday house cleaning a breeze. And of course they’re indispensable for baby bottoms! But please don’t flush them down the toilet– even if they are labeled “flushable.” The label simply means they will go down your toilet when flushed. What you need to be concerned about is what happens next. Unlike toilet paper, wipes do not disintegrate in water. They stay pretty much intact as they travel through the sewer pipes and can get caught on roots or other debris, increasing the likelihood of a clog. So, throw away any cleaning/disinfecting wipes, moist towelettes, personal hygiene products, etc., in the trash, never in your toilet.  Clogged sewer lines are ugly and expensive to fix. Trashing disposable wipes is such an easy way to prevent trouble.
Learning about this topic is great cleaning tips and tricks brought to you by the Cleaning Proz.

Anago Cleaning Systems Supports Ronald McDonald House Charities

POMPANO BEACH, FL, January 27, 2012 - Anago Cleaning Systems is pleased to support the Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) of Fort Lauderdale. The House is a temporary "home away from home" for families with seriously ill children who are being treated at local South Florida pediatric hospitals. The House provides lodging, meals and support to these families during their difficult times.

Many of these families travel far from their homes to get the best treatment for their children. The House provides their services at little or no cost to these families for extended periods of time. Their philosophy is that when a child is hospitalized, the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed. By staying at a Ronald McDonald House, parents can also better communicate with their child's medical team and focus on the health of their child, rather than worrying about grocery shopping, cleaning, or cooking meals. RMHC's Global Policy states that families are never turned away - if it's not possible to pay, the fee is waived. Today there are over 300 Ronald McDonald Houses across the world.

Anago Cleaning Systems' employees collectively donated cash and supplies for the Ronald McDonald House. The company then matched their donations. In late December, a group of Anago employees visited the House. Stacy Celestin of RMHC described the experience - "I watched a group of astonishing people spread the love in their hearts with the children and their families here at the Ronald McDonald House. We greatly appreciate all the efforts and dedication of Anago Cleaning Systems. As members of the South Florida community, they made it their mission to give back to the families residing here." For more information on how you can help Ronald McDonald House Charities, visit www.rmhc.com.
