Required to be refreshed annually, the Anago of Western PA Healthcare Cleaning Compliance is a requirement as defined by the Anago of Western PA Exposure Control Plan. This annual program covers: Blood Borne Pathogen/Infectious Disease Exposure Control, Universal Precautions in Medical Facilities, Medical Facility Code of Conduct, Understanding Types of Pathogens, Disinfecting Surfaces, Disinfectant Dwell Times, Top Area to Attack with Disinfectant, Cleaning Exam Tables, Ten Step Medical Floor Maintenance, HIPPA, MSDS Sheets/Labels/Right To Know, Slip, Trip and Fall Prevention for Healthcare Workers, Asthma & Cleaning Agents, Healthcare Personnel Exposure Rates, OSHA BBP Standards for Employers, Personal Protective Equipment, Latex Allergies, Anago of Western PA Hepatitis B Vaccination Subsidy, Breaking the Chain of Infection, and Proper Hand washing Technique.
According to Anago of Western PA Vice-President Bill Ross, “This program was put in place four years ago so that our Franchise Owners would be compliant to handle Medical Facility Housekeeping Services right out of the gate; just another part of our turn-key Franchise program. It has developed over the years to focus on keeping our Franchisees and their employees healthy and safe, because without them we have nothing.”
Anago of Western PA Franchise Owners that attended the program will each be issued a Certificate of Compliance for their records and to show their clients upon request. Additionally a copy of the certificate will be kept at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office.
